Emma started training at Strength House to resolve hip, back and shoulder pain.
Our in-house assessment was the first step of the process. This helped us discover certain muscles that were weaker and design exercises specific to Emma’s goals. It was key to bring in muscle activation exercises pre training to ensure Emma was recruiting specific muscles for the task rather than relying on compensation.
We slowly started increasing the challenge of the exercises to help build strength, which also helped improve Emma's range of motion (‘flexibility’). The progressive strength helped Emma resolve the aches and pains in both her hips, back and shoulder.
Emma is highly active in the week with tennis and we are pleased to hear her back and hip issues have been resolved. She continues to train with us to keep herself strong for both day to day health and sporting activities.
